Get More Juice from Passive Mics - Passive dynamic and ribbon microphones sound absolutely incredible. However, these microphones’ naturally low output is a major impediment to using them on quiet sources or during live performances. With the sE Electronics DM1 Dynamite in-line preamp, however, those days are over. This compact unit plugs directly into the output of your microphone. Feed it a little phantom power, and the DM1 delivers +28dB of clean, clear preamplification. In other words, your mic signals hit their destination at an adequate level for proper gain staging. The DM1’s Class A circuitry, high-quality FETs, and low impedance ensure a consistent signal and very low noise — even over long cable runs. Help your mics perform up to their full potential with the sE Electronics DM1 Dynamite.

Note: For best results, we recommend plugging the DM1 directly into a microphone’s output.

Pristine sound from any source - sE Electronics designed the DM1 to boost your signal without adding any unwanted coloration. After extensive testing in the real world, Sweetwater can confirm that this compact in-line preamp does precisely that. So how did sE Electronics achieve such a feat? By using Class A circuitry and hand-selected FETs, of course. The Class A electronics and dedicated output buffer ensure you always get pristine amplification of your signal regardless of cable length and impedance.
