Overview
Up for grabs is an absolutely stunning, limited-edition Schecter Tempest 50th Anniversary model in the eye-catching 50th Gold Burst finish. This guitar stands as a celebration of five decades of forward-thinking guitar design, blending premium tonewoods, striking black-and-gold hardware, and high-performance electronics. To match my other active listings, I am selling this instrument solely because I am downsizing my personal collection in preparation for an upcoming out-of-state move. This is a rare, commemorative guitar that plays significantly better than a standard factory model thanks to premium optimization.
Professional Sweetwater PLEK Setup Upgrade ($229 Value):
Before shipping out from Sweetwater, this guitar was put through their computer-guided PLEK machine and meticulously dialed in by their master luthiers. The 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets have been digitally analyzed and leveled to microscopic tolerances. This completely eliminates any potential buzz, guarantees perfect intonation across the entire fretboard, and yields an ultra-low, lightning-fast playing action that feels like a custom shop masterbuild.
Premium Anniversary Electronics:
This guitar features two exclusive, custom-voiced pickups built specifically for this milestone series:
- Bridge Pickup: Schecter Sunset Strip Anniversary Edition humbucker, delivering muscular low-end punch and searing modern aggression.
- Neck Pickup: Schecter Pasadena Classic Anniversary Edition humbucker, offering expressive, warm, PAF-flavored vintage tones.
- Coil-Split Versatility: A push-pull master tone control gives you instant access to crisp, chimey single-coil tones.
