For sale is my 2014 Gibson SJ-200 Custom Vine, one of Gibson's most beautifully appointed and difficult-to-find Super Jumbo acoustics.

I purchased this guitar new in 2014 and have been its only owner. It has been meticulously cared for, stored in its original Gibson hardshell case, and has lived in a smoke-free home. It has been my primary acoustic for songwriting, recording, performing, and leading worship, and has always been professionally maintained.

This guitar is accompanied by its original Gibson hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and the original Gibson Final Inspection Checklist.

Often referred to as the "King of the Flat-Tops," the SJ-200 has been Gibson's flagship acoustic since its introduction in 1937. Its legendary reputation comes from its huge, balanced voice and exceptional projection. Whether played acoustically or plugged in, it delivers remarkable clarity, warmth, and presence.

What makes this Custom Vine edition truly special is its stunning appointment package. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid flamed maple back and sides, an antique natural lacquer finish, and a rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges. The breathtaking mother-of-pearl Gibson vine flows from the headstock across the entire fingerboard, complemented by abalone top binding, an abalone rosette, dual-bar abalone moustache bridge inlays, and elegant gold Grover Imperial tuners. It is both a world-class musical instrument and a remarkable example of Gibson craftsmanship.

The guitar is equipped with the original Fishman Aura Ellipse soundhole-mounted pickup system, providing one of the most natural amplified acoustic sounds available while preserving the character of the instrument.

Condition

This guitar is in great cosmetic and playing condition with only light signs of ownership - see photo near pick card. There are no cracks, breaks, structural repairs, or functional issues. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life remaining, the action is comfortable, and everything functions exactly as it should.

These Custom Vine models are rarely offered for sale, particularly from the original owner and with all of the original documentation. Whether you're a collector, recording artist, or performing musician, this is an exceptional example of one of Gibson's finest acoustic guitars.
