Born from San Diego’s culture of surfboards, hot rods, skate decks, and sonic experimentation, the Powers Electric A-Type is a bold reimagining of the electric guitar.

This innovative hollowbody blends modern playability with vintage soul, designed by Andy Powers—the master builder behind Taylor Guitars. The A-Type’s trussed internal frame keeps things light yet resonant, while its asymmetrical fretboard radius offers fluid playability and tonal consistency across the neck.

With proprietary pickups, a unique Cam-Tail tremolo system and cutting-edge material choices throughout, the A-Type doesn’t just challenge tradition—it replaces it with something more expressive, more alive, and more you.
