Great concept, but not for me.

Random things that aren't listed anywhere:

Mini-USB, and it is slightly high in the chassis. So instead of inserting it directly, you just have to feel as though you're inserting it slightly higher. (Sounds confusing, but just imagine the opening is slightly higher, and it will go in naturally. Don't force it or wiggle it.)

Only one kit at a time. The manual feels like it's indicating that there are a few kits on the device at a time, but it's talking about "kits", plural, as in the kits on your computer or the web app that you can load one at a time.

LEDs are very low. If you watch demos, then you'll notice that they're all in low-light conditions, so the pads seem brighter. Or watch the demos by Loop Rituals and Bonedo Synthesizers, and you'll notice that you can barely see that the pads are illuminated. At first, I thought it might be defective, but this is normal.

Audio output is low compared to other devices, so you're going to need to put it in a mixer.

And make sure you use a mono cable, because it's a mono out. Otherwise, you'll only get one side, at least that's what happened when I used stereo headphones.

Other than that, I still think it's cool and has potential, but this isn't the way my brain works, and I don't currently have time/patience to be trying random devices. Maybe another day I'll get into TE devices. But especially if you're used to knobby-twisty-effects, or if that's something you're interested in, then this is like a side-ways volca sample. It's tiny and cute and gnarly like a little dog that barks once a day so it's cute instead of barking constantly and being annoying lol
