Ill start this off with the fact that this Les Paul has been around the block, and more accurately, the continent.

Its a mid 1971 Goldtop deluxe that originally had mini humbuckers and boo-boo rings. It has had some modifications over the years. Currently has a 1950s Les paul P90 in the neck, and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge with a 1960s chrome cover worn to the nickel! Old Gibson M8 ring as well. The Pots are newer cts and it has had a coil tap switch added and removed. Also, another set of tuners was added and reverted back to the Gibson Deluxe tuners. The nut has been grafted with a small pice of brass as well.

This guitar has some the most honest wear and feels like a good pair of worn in levis. It weighs a 9.9lbs. Not the lightest but not the heaviest of the era. my god it delivers in spades for the full sound and incredible sustain. If you are here for originality, this isn't your guitar.
