CONDITION & ISSUE:
- Unit 1: Excellent working condition. Clean cabinet, original components, sounds great.
- Unit 2: Fully operational amplifier and power supply, BUT the woofer cone has a puncture/hole in it & the power button is missing cap but button still works and speaker powers on just fine.(see detailed photo).
Audio still plays out of both units, but the cone on the second speaker needs repair, re-cone, or replacement for accurate, clean low-end monitoring.
WHY BUY THESE? These were JBL's flagship active reference monitors (featuring 250W LF / 120W HF bi-amping and titanium tweeters). They pack incredible punch and translation. This pair is an ideal project for someone who knows how to re-cone a driver, patch speaker cones, or source a replacement JBL 218F woofer.
