This J12 model is a phenomenal instrument designed for the discerning musician. Handcrafted with care and attention to detail found in world class guitars. Sitka spruce top and bracing provides the foundation for a stunning sound. The top has been radiused and thicknessed to deftly handle the tension the 12 strings exert while allowing it still to respond both to light fingerpicking as well as solid strumming. Combine that with AAA grade Indian Rosewood back and sides for an unbeatable pairing. This guitar has a pianistic voice with sustaining, ringing highs, focused midrange and a warm bass that beautifully supports the notes above.
The neck fits comfortably in your hand and feels fast up and down the fretboard. Solid black ebony fretboard and headstock are elegantly bound with ivoroid binding. Fretboard is inlaid with mother of pearl (MOP) squares and diamonds. Headstock featured handcut MOP "H" logo. Gotoh stealth tuners keep the headstock well balanced with the body.
