Every great riff starts with a guitar that refuses to compromise, and the Ibanez RGD721FA Standard 7-String was built for players who demand crushing low-end power without giving up speed, precision, or versatility. Available at Haggerty's Music, this extended-range instrument is designed to inspire modern metal, progressive rock, and technical players who need a guitar that performs as confidently in aggressive rhythm work as it does during soaring lead passages. Combining premium tonewoods, refined ergonomics, and cutting-edge electronics, the RGD721FA is purpose-built to unlock new creative possibilities.

The layered ash and okoume body, capped with a stunning flamed maple top, delivers a balanced tonal foundation with plenty of punch, while the extended 26.5-inch scale keeps lower tunings tight, articulate, and full of definition. Ibanez's renowned Wizard II-7 five-piece panga panga and walnut neck offers the fast, effortless feel that has become a favorite among technical players, and the Macassar ebony fingerboard adds snap, clarity, and exceptional note separation across all 24 jumbo frets. Whether you're navigating complex progressive arrangements, precision-picked riffs, or fluid solos, the RGD721FA responds with confidence and remarkable playability.

Loaded with a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7 humbuckers, this guitar delivers aggressive output, focused lows, articulate mids, and crisp highs that remain clear even under intense gain. The addition of a coil tap switch expands the tonal palette with brighter, more open single-coil-inspired sounds, making the RGD721FA equally capable of clean passages and dynamic rhythm work. Finished in an eye-catching Stained Wine Red Burst Flat, this modern 7-string combines striking aesthetics with outstanding performance, making it an exceptional choice for players ready to push beyond the limits of a traditional six-string.
