I completely rebuilt this amplifier and it sounds very good.
It is a unique sounding amplifier with great breakup when pushed...the cleans are dramatic and engaging.
reverb and tremolo work properly and can be turned on/off with the foot switch thats provided with the amp.
its mostly original condition besides the electrolytic caps and a few resistors. speaker is original as well. insides are clean and haven't been hacked up. someone added a 3.5mm headphone jack to the front panel, I disconnected it but left it in place. the amp is in original working condition with the stock circuit in place, ready to play for many years.
this amp uses a voltage regulator tube and also has an interstage transformer - between the phase inverter and power tubes. this is a very unusual feature for a guitar amp and along with some unusual preamp tube choices - ie. pentodes (where most amps use triodes) - the tones it creates are quiet pleasing. with the onboard effects, good cleans and beautiful breakup this amp is like a Swiss army knife in the studio. thank you.
