KVG M56 2026 With Exclusive Tone Guarantee

New, handmade guitar head amplifier. Class A single ended. Phenomenal tone. EL84 output for sweet rich tone. Custom output transformer for 8 ohm speakers. Shielded 12AX7A preamp/driver. 6CA4 rectifier improves tone by creating a subtle compression effect. (The orange speaker is not included; it’s a 12” and shown for scale.)

Volume and Tone controls. 

The gain is about 50 dB, so it should work well with pedals too. 

It’s tone is clean up to about 3 watts then it begins to thicken up as it reaches the 5 watt level. When driven hard it just gets thicker, but doesn’t get “crunchy.” Tone is reminiscent of a 1960s Fender Princeton or Champ but smoother like a vintage Lectrosonic. 

Has a rounded punchy bottom end and clean but not shrill highs because of the custom output transformer. The transformer is sized to not saturate or distort even at the maximum output of the EL84.

Recommended for acoustic guitar and passive electric guitars. Best for folk, country, jazz, blues, big band, swing, or classic rock. Doesn’t have that “shark bite” tone for metal. 

Great for recording, practice or performance in small clubs. I’ve heard them used with JBL D130 or EV 12M speakers and they really rock. Of course, smaller speakers work great too. Especially if you find a cool vintage 8-inch or 10-inch full range speaker.
