The Gibson '70s Flying V from the Original Collection revives one of the most recognizable guitars of the hard rock era. Finished in Classic White with a matching headstock, this iconic instrument captures the bold styling and powerful tone that helped define arena rock throughout the 1970s. Built with a solid mahogany body and mahogany SlimTaper™ neck, it offers excellent sustain, effortless upper-fret access, and fast playability.
The bound rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic dot inlays, while a pair of uncovered 70s Tribute humbuckers deliver the high-output, aggressive voice associated with classic rock and metal. Hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors provide improved clarity and responsiveness, preserving the dynamic character of the pickups across the full range of the controls.
Vintage-inspired appointments include a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners, chrome hardware, and the signature white three-ply pickguard. A Gibson hardshell case and accessory kit are included, making the '70s Flying V a faithful recreation of one of Gibson's most enduring rock icons.
