******* SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS!!!***********
I'll keep this as short and sweet as I can.
This was a PHILCO 1940s AlNiCo 10" that needed rebuilt...,. So, I built it for a Fender Champ set up.. it even has the fender like grounding strap on the speaker - terminal...
So, I gutted it, and loaded it with some old OEM. " Fender Super Champ Speaker Components", which are all OEM/ AMERICAN parts.
This was stripped down to bare metal, and EVERYTHING from the voice coil out to the front mounting gaskets are brand new, so it's basically a new speaker again..
New voice coil, new spider assembly, new COPPER litz wires, new cone assembly, etc, etc, etc. - EVERYTHING!
It's a 4 ohm speaker, and can handle 30 watts. response is a fairly wide 55Hz to 6.85Khz and a mid 90s SPL, so she's efficient..
The TONE is what counts with these CHAMP speakers....
Great clean/. acoustic tonality, but when you slap the fuzz to it and use some head end gains, she'll bark, bite, spit, and SCREEEEAM with that "Power-Vintage" tonality..
BOX IS INCLUDED- why not, they been together for 80 years...
and I'll include my 15 day " NO GAMBLE" return option from delivery date ((less customer damage))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like what you just bought!
So, if you've been looking for a proper, period correct, old alnico that's the p[roper FOUR OHM load for that great old amp circuitry, then here ya' go!
ANY questions or concerns, just ask.
THANKS GUYS!
