The roasted pine body of this Double Esquire harks back to the early days of the Telecaster family, while the dual hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard pickups deliver an exceptionally authentic early '50s twang.
The Esquire laid the foundation for all solidbody electric guitars that would follow and was the precursor to its more famous brother, the Telecaster. If you are a fan of old-school thick Tele necks, the Limited Edition Double Esquire neck offers plenty of weight, and the 7.25- to 9.5-inch compound radius blends the vintage world with the modern for a super comfortable playing experience.
With an aged black finish and Caballo Tono pickguard, this Tele has a no-nonsense look and simply belongs on the stage! Any signs of wear on the body are barely distinguishable from the Relic. It is certainly in excellent condition and comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity.
This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
