Harkening to his mainstay model, Epiphone’s signature Riviera for Noel Gallagher is a high-powered take on the early '80s Epiphone instruments that he popularized in the halcyon days of Oasis' stadium-filling tours. The semi-hollowbody’s top, back, and sides are comprised of 5-ply layered maple, set with a 3-piece maple neck, designed with a volute to bolster the headstock assembly; 22 frets adorn the 12-inch radius Indian laurel fingerboard, cut with a fast, comfortable slim “C” neck profile. Natural, powerful resonance is electrified by Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers, boasting CTS potentiometers alongside two volume and two tone controls, letting you dial in a sound that’s perfectly personal.

Semi-hollow supernova

The 5-ply maple top, back, and sides provide great note separation, responsive in the middle and upper registers, while maintaining a sturdy low end. Its natural resonance and powerful projection are augmented by its semi-hollow design, remaining bright and full throughout. In the neck, maple functions as a solid sonic anchor, with crystalline, articulate tones in every register. Indian laurel populates the fingerboard, yielding robust overtones with a vibrant, well-rounded overall sound. Plus, the classic F-hole design allows for fantastic projection, adding a loudness to an already boisterous tonal blend!

Resilient assembly with comfortable action

Constructed with a set neck design, maple is naturally light in weight and climate-adaptable, making it structurally and tonally stable as well as resistant to twisting and warping. This resilient 3-piece neck is cut with a slim “C” profile, remaining comfortable in hand and accommodating a variety of play styles. The 22 frets sprawl a 12-inch radius fingerboard, offering a robust tonal range without sacrificing comfort or versatility. A classic 3+3 headstock layout boasts Epiphone’s die-cast tuners, with a volute included in its assembly.

Perfect electronics for acoustic-electric play

Looking to bring the semi-hollow sonics to life, Epiphone opted for Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions, boasting Alnico V magnets that are evenly wound for a bright sound that balances well with the crisp semi-hollow projection. CTS potentiometers back up the two volume and tone controls, with a 3-way selector that allows you to dial in just the right blend of punch and attenuation. Epiphone’s LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge ensures a consistent, reliable sound, minimizing maintenance with intonation. A front-mounted 1/4-inch output accompanies black Witch Hat knobs, which are combined with lovely binding to pair visual and sonic aesthetics.
