50 watt 6L6 AB763 Deluxe/ Super - 2026

Custom 50-watt Deluxe Reverb/ Super Reverb AB763 Tube Guitar Amplifier Head
I had this boutique amp custom built by Jon Stride an amp builder in Florida, also in the band Suburban Tragedy.

***Please note: The video is of this actual amp. I replaced the grill cloth on it to black after the video was taken.***

Some specs: 
- AB763 circuit with TMB tone stack
- Front panel toggle switches from (down) Super Reverb to (up) Deluxe Reverb voicing 
- 16/8/4 ohm switchable output 
- Speaker and Ext cab outputs
- Eyelet point to point hand wired
- Output transformer is a Heyboer 50w Super/Bassman BF type with 4/8/16 ohm outputs
- Power transformer is an actual USA made Fender replacement transformer for a Vibroverb rated for 200ma
- Choke is from Pacific trandformers “red series”
- Tube sockets are Belton and have retainers or shields installed
- Matched pair of Tung Sol 6L6GC preamp tubes, x1 12ax7, and x1 12at7 for the phase inverter
- Solid state rectified 

Amp has less than 10 hours of play through it. It's an amazing clean pedal platform amp with enough character. But I don't play out and at this point, don't see a situation where I ever will so it's just so much overkill for at home playing. 

It stays quite clean until you get beyond 7 or 8 on the volume. It's very punchy and loud when it needs to be.
