An excellent sounding and playing G&L JB-2 made in G&L's USA factory in Fullerton, California. What you have here is essentially a jazz bass with G&L's excellent high mass saddle lock bridge and a more streamlined body.

I purchased this instrument used in 2008, so I've had it for a while. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Apollo Jazz Bass pickups which are a split-coil humbucker under the hood, providing noiseless operation in any setting while still retaining that essential jazz bass sound. When replacing the pickups, I also replaced the pickup mounting springs with foam, because the springs would ring and drive me crazy. Other than those minor improvements, it's all stock.

Currently strung with flatwounds. I've lost track of the specific set. They sound nice, have been changed in the last year or so, and have plenty of life left in them. A hardshell case is included, just not pictured.
