This is the Buchla & M.E.M.S. release of the much sought after early 258A version of the Buchla Dual Oscillator. The 258A is known for its aggressive exponential FM and experimental timbres. This is a brand new, ultra clean, pro build using M.E.M.S. vintage replica PCBs and all critical components as specified on the original including period-correct selected transistors, op amps, tantalum capacitors, and carbon composition resistors. If you are looking for an entirely authentic version of a Buchla 258A, this is it. CV inputs are calibrated to 1.2V/octave.
