THE BAD: Orville/R unit started cutting out during sessions and then finally made a big frequency sweep sound and cut out for good some months ago. I talked to Beamish and one other shop and their prognosis from my description was that it's fixable. I decided to go ahead and move to another unit for straight-up reverb processing for a long project I am finishing, and I doubt I will get around to fixing the Orville for some time, so offering up for someone that can fix or wants to organize the work to be done with a shop.
THE GOOD: Excellent condition EVE/net in full working order and is the real thing I'll miss, although my studio doesn't require it. There is some sticky tape residue next to the meters as well as "In" and "out" written in marker on the back (these units for some reason didn't have their midi in's and out's labeled). I will also send along an ethernet cable that goes with it. This will work with all orvilles, some 7000's models, as well as the earlier H8000's.
