2006 G&L USA SB-2 — Custom BTO (Quartersawn Neck / Matching Headstock)
Up for sale is a stunning, 2006-era Fullerton-built G&L USA SB-2 in Jet Black. Given the premium factory options on this build, including an upgraded 1-piece Quartersawn Maple neck and a factory matching gloss black headstock, this was a custom Build-To-Order (BTO) out of the legendary Fender Avenue plant in Fullerton, California.
Now that Fullerton production has ceased, clean, high-spec USA G&Ls like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially for a custom BTO setup. Run-of-the-mill G&L USA instruments did not come standard with a quartersawn neck or painted headstock, making this a rare find in outstanding condition.

- Servicing: This bass has been completely torn down, photographed, and each component has been individually inspected, cleaned, and reassembled with the utmost care.
- Cosmetics: The body finish is in great shape with a deep gloss. There is a small cosmetic ding/imperfection on the top tip of the headstock edge (visible in photos), but otherwise, the instrument has been exceptionally well cared for. Small superficial scratches here and there, which should be expected for a 20 year old instrument.
