For sale is my Telefunken U47 AE (Anniversary Edition).
Telefunken Elektroakustik reintroduced the U47 in the mid-2000s as the U47 AE (Anniversary Edition) – a faithful recreation of the legendary original Neumann U47, built using classic components and traditional construction methods. The AE designation was only used for a limited period before the microphone reverted to simply being called the U47.
This microphone features the M7 capsule (the same capsule type used in the vintage originals), a BV8 output transformer, and the correct VF14K tube, developed as a modern, reliable, and highly accurate reproduction of the legendary VF14 tube.
The microphone is in very good condition. It has been carefully maintained, used exclusively in a smoke-free professional studio, and has never been loaned out.

The microphone has been used at the legendary Wifos Studio in Copenhagen, one of Denmark's most historic recording studios, where iconic recordings such as "Apache" by Jørgen Ingmann and "Dansevise" by Grethe Ingmann were recorded.
It comes complete with the original power supply, cable, shock mount, and wooden case.
The microphone is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Local pickup is welcome.
