Up for sale is a beautiful 2000 Fender American Deluxe Fat Stratocaster HSS in VG+ condition and perfect working order. It has a beautiful 2-piece ash body.
Cosmetically, this instrument is very clean. But it has been gigged and does show a fair amount of play wear. There are swirl marks and scratches in the clear coat throughout, but still shows as a stunning red ash strat! The pickguard also has some light pick scratches some discoloration. The guitar weighs 8lbs 7.3oz.
The guitar has one very useful mod. A coil split switch has been added for the bridge humbucker. Because of the relatively high output of the bridge pickup, it has a very convincing and strong strat single coil sound when split.
