Up for auction is a 1960-70s Gibson Mastertone 5-string banjo. A dates it to 60s but I was told it may be a 70s.  In super shape. Normal aging patina.  Checking on surfaces (see photos).  Stays in tune well.  Neck straight.  Second owner.  I've owned it for over 30 years. Has an extra bridge in the case. This handmade instrument features a wood body with a resonator style, brass tone ring, and polished finish. With 22 frets and a string configuration of 5 strings, this banjo is suitable for advanced and intermediate players, providing a rich and powerful tone.  Case in great condition.  Few scuffs.  Latches all work.  Not playing it so wanted to give it a new home.  This instrument should be played.  Any questions just contact me.  I believe it to be priced competitively.  Own an original vintage Gibson banjo!!
