'78 Fender Musicmaster MODIFIED

This is a 1978 Fender Music Master. Currently it plays well with low action and good intonation. The electronics can be a little finicky but do function overall. This has had quite a few modifications over the years and currently I don't think anything is original except the tuners, the frets and maybe the knobs. The finish on the body also is not original . The electronics are not original and the pickup is a DiMarzio FS1 according to Google. The bridge is a generic one with no markings, but it intonates all six saddles so it will play better in tune than the originals did. There is holes in the body front from a different bridge setup. There is substantial routing under the body as shown in the picture, you could put three humbuckers in this if you wanted to, and included is another pick card that I got it with which encompasses all the extra routing as well but has a huge pickup route for three humbuckers or whatever else. Currently it has an aftermarket original style pickguard which exposes some of the routing which was filled by a piece of wood as shown. This also had some sort of locking nut With the mounting screws going through the whole neck Which were plugged as shown in the pictures. There was also some filing of area behind the nut probably to make it level.

The back of the guitar has had a cavity made to encompass a 9-volt battery which obviously isn't there anymore.

This includes what is probably the original hard shell case shown which works Although one of the hinges has become unclipped but could be easily enough repaired.

These cases alone are worth a couple hundred bucks but I wanted to keep it together.
