The Pioneer SX-880 Receiver is one of the most sought after vintage receivers known to have the classic powerful yet warm and controlled Pioneer voicing. At 60 watts per channel and ultra low distortion, the SX-880 can drive most any speakers with audiophile level performance. The SX-880 is a solid well build unit with discrete transistors (not STK packs) that will ensure years of optimal high quality performance.

This unit has been fully gone through, cleaned, updated as needed and serviced by a professional electronics technician. The bulbs have replaced with new incandescent bulbs to maintain originality and the entire unit calibrated and bias set to ensure optimal performance. The case is in very good condition with minimal nicks and only a few scars expected of a mid 70s vintage receiver. This unit sound amazing on all functions and has been front and center in my audio rack for quite some time driving audiophile level speakers.
