The Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Reissue with TV Jones Power’Tron pickups takes the classic late-’50s Les Paul platform and gives it a very different voice. Finished with a Gold Sparkle top and VOS nitrocellulose lacquer, it has the vintage foundation players expect from a ’57-style Les Paul with a pickup set that pushes it into more unique territory.
The body pairs a mahogany back with a carved maple top, single-ply top binding, and no weight relief. The Gold Sparkle top gives the guitar a bold Custom Shop look while keeping the core Les Paul silhouette intact.
The mahogany neck features a Chunky 1950s Chunky D profile, rosewood fingerboard, 24.75" scale length, nylon nut, and trapezoid inlays. It is built around the substantial feel associated with ’50s Les Paul Reissue instruments.
The standout feature is the pair of TV Jones Power’Tron pickups. They bring a distinct humbucking voice with added bite, clarity, and output, making this a strong choice for players who want a Les Paul that moves outside the standard pickup recipe.
