This “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan as part of the Order Made program, which offered numerous non-catalog finish and component options. An instrument outfitted with premium features from head to toe, this Stratocaster boasts Lace Sensor pickups, a TBX tone control and active Mid Boost, gold-plated hardware including a two-point Schaller-made tremolo, quilted maple front/back veneers on a basswood body, a 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard with medium jumbo fretwire and a 12” radius, and a contoured neck heel.

The Red Lace Sensor pickup in the bridge position is their highest output model, almost humbucker-like with a fat punch and bright, white-hot bite, and the Silver Lace Sensors in the middle and neck positions deliver fat '70s-style single coil response with increased output and midrange. As with all Lace products, these pickups feature a unique radiant Field Barrier system that surrounds both the coil and magnets, reducing 60-cycle hum.
