Blues legend Johnny Winter called the Firebird the "best of all worlds." Made to replicate the 1964 Firebird V that graced the cover of his legendary Captured Live! album, this Firebird V features a Murphy Lab aged Polaris White finish, a 5-piece mahogany/walnut neck-through-body with mahogany wings, and Alnico 5 Firebird Pickups.
The specs reveal an astonishing level of detail, from the plugged holes from the removed Maestro Vibrola to the faded Firebird logo on the pickguard, right down to the missing reflector on the rhythm tone knob. The Firebird V bearing the serial number shown above is part of a limited run of 125 guitars and was hand-made by the expert luthiers and craftspeople of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, USA
Please note that we're selling this guitar on commission for a good customer of ours'. If you have a guitar or collection that you would like for us to sell then please get in touch.
