The 415-T is the precursor to the famous 416 shotgun mic. Media legend says these were used for location dialogue when sound was recorded on portable reel to reel machines like Nagras. These have a slightly boost in upper mids and more so on low end. When digital recording came out these mics seemed to pick up more extraneous noises so they revised the curve on the newer 416’s and 816’s to roll off on the highs (birds in the backround) and lows (passing cars, planes etc). This makes these 415-T mics sought after for voiceover in studio and soundstage. I am selling this one of our five we have. I could sell a second one if interested. Comes WITH the 48v to 12v converter and Tuchel to XLR connector
