This DSM Humbolt Simplifier II is an engineering marvel. It’s like the all analog, more flexible version of the Strymon Iridium (which I had but sold after getting this). Vox, Fender and Marshall preamps and power amps…fully sweepable speaker sim knob. Toggles for different cabs. Great eq shaping. It’s like a whole amp in little box. Check out online videos if you want to get a sense of the range and tasty tones.

In a world of modelers and IRs, this thing stands out with soul. No only does it feel like a real amp (the power tube section is particularly compelling), but you have dials to access everything right on the pedal. You quickly get used to what they do and can dial up detailed sounds very easily. I am a clean to crunch, low gain player, so I can’t speak to the high gain side of this thing. Honestly, if you’re into high gain, this may not be your bag. But maybe it’s awesome at that, too? Tons of connectivity and routing and relatively low power draw make this easy to throw on a board or keep on your desk.

I’m selling because I’ve mainly gone back to my small amps and a headphone amp for around the house and I’m looking to get some new gear. SO, selling AS-DESCRIBED to quickly turn into something else. Full functionality guaranteed. It’s in excellent working condition with a few small areas of wear (see photos). Velcro on bottom. Original little rubber feet are long gone.
