This is a beautiful Gibson F-4 Mandolin with a sunburst finish made in 1915, featuring a characteristic oval soundhole, carved spruce top, and carved maple sides and back. This F-4 is a highly sought-after, century old instrument, and is in beautiful condition with a gorgeous warm and aged tone. This vintage Mandolin has received a professional set-up from our in-house luthiers, and is ready to be played, jammed, and performed with. It comes with the original hardshell case, and all-original hardware, including a set of intricate pre-war Handel tuning machines.
