2026 Taylor Academy 22e Natural

Taylor’s Academy 22e puts an all-walnut spin on the renowned Academy series! The 22e is an ideal choice for both students and pros alike, boasting enhanced playability and a slim Grand Concert body to facilitate easy learning, while top-tier Taylor tone and construction mean that it will remain a relevant tonal tool long after your student days are through. In fact, plenty of guitarists favor Academy Series instruments like the 22e for their comfortably reduced scale length, high-end tonewoods (check out that hard rock maple neck and ebony fingerboard), and ergonomic armrest — it’s the perfect couch or songwriting guitar. A solid walnut top and layered walnut back and sides produce a bright, clear tone that also delivers formidable body and projection, allowing the 22e to tackle a myriad of styles and genres. Finally, when it’s time to make your way up onstage, the built-in ES-B 1.2 electronics effortlessly electrify your playing and authentically capture the 22e’s rich unplugged tone.
