THE STORY:
This is a true "under-the-bed" find. Purchased new in 2004 and stored immediately in a climate-controlled environment, this guitar has never been gigged, never been "test-driven" at a music store, and has essentially zero play time. It is a museum-grade example of the discontinued ES-333 model.
COLLECTOR-GRADE DETAILS:
FACTORY PLASTIC INTACT: The protective clear film from the Nashville factory is still unpeeled on the rear electronics access panel. (See photos).
PRISTINE QUILT TOP: While most ES-333s were plain-top, this specific instrument features a deep, 3D Quilted Maple top, back, and sides.
UNPLAYED CONDITION: Zero fret wear, zero buckle rash, and zero oxidation on the nickel hardware. This is as close as you can get to buying a brand-new Gibson from 20 years ago.
PRO ACCESS: The ES-333 is the only semi-hollow "Dot" model with a factory rear-access plate, making it the most functional player's guitar Gibson ever produced.
