Up for sale is a Vintage 1953 Gibson L50 Sunburst w/ Aftermarket Pickguard, Electronics, & Case in Very Good Condition! This one has no cracks in the body, and the finish checking shows that the finish is original. There are a couple of spots on one of the sides where it looks like someone colored in some finish wear with a marker, as shown in the photo with the black light. This is the only spot where anything like this shows up. There are a couple of marks on the back of the neck that looks like it wore away from resting on a stand. These are the only major blemishes to speak of on this guitar. The pickguard & electronics are aftermarket, and someone drilled a hole for an input jack. The guitar plays & sounds great, and is a great example of what one of these should look & sound like. The case is aftermarket as well, but is roughly period correct we believe. The tuners have been changed out with new Kluson Deluxe tuners. This will ship tightly packed & fully insured. Thanks for looking!
