A genuine 1979 Fender Stratocaster with a black finish in very good to excellent condition for its age. The back cover plate is missing and there are some scratches and dings but that is to be expected with an instrument that is nearly 50 years old. We included some pictures of the underside of the pickguard and the neck pocket. The pickguard interior does have a stamp on it for November 1999, which suggests to us that the original electronics including the pickups could have been swapped out with a loaded pickguard. We also replaced the trem arm as it came to us without one. Hardware shows authentic aging and corrosion consistent with its era. Please take a look at all the photos attached to get more complete idea of the condition. Comes with a vintage hardshell case showing comparable wear. This is a character-filled classic ready for the stage or studio.
