This bass is in amazing condition for 59 years old! Between 1963 and 1969, they made a total of 507 Embassy Deluxe basses. Only 103 were made in 1967. 34" scale. Two pickups (same ones as used in the Gibson Thunderbird bass). Broken headstocks are common with these basses, but this one is perfect and has never been broken or repaired. The frets and the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard are in excellent condition. On many Embassy Deluxe basses the action is high and the bridge is already flat to the body. This bass doesn't have that problem. There's room to adjust the action higher or lower. It currently has a Bad Bird bridge, which allows you to intonate it properly and requires no modification to the bass. The original bridge, studs, and mutes are included. The finish is in excellent condition as well. It's tastefully weather checked and has a less than average amount of nicks and dings. It's got that Thunderbird growl! Includes the original Epiphone hardshell case. Weighs 8lbs 9ozs. I searched for many years to find one this clean. The only reason I'm selling is because I acquired another one that's even cleaner!
