Vintage pre CBS 1964 Fender Jazzmaster 3-tone Sunburst with clay dots, transitional logo, L series neck plate, super dark Rosewood fretboard and lush red pickguard.
Excellent condition only a few minor scratches the guitar did have a clear bodygaurd on it that was removed leaving the edge of the finish cloudy (see photos). The guitar is in perfect playable condition and comes with original case strap and goodies.
The guitar was professionally inspected by Larry's Guitars in North Carolina. Everything is clean and original throughout. Original frets, pots, pickups, nothing hiding under the hood. This was a one owner guitar that has been in the family since it was ordered from Fender in 1963. Just wanting it to go to someone who can play it and appreciate how special it is.
A great-playing and sounding example of a mid-’60s Jazzmaster with the feel, resonance, and character these instruments are known for. An excellent player-grade vintage Fender with plenty of life left in it.
