Audio Technica ATM230 Hypercardioid Dynamic Microphone (set of 5) USED by DR DOG / Eric Slick

Up for sale is a set of 5 Audio Technica ATM230 Hypercardioid Dynamic Drum/Instrument mics.

IMHO THE BEST drum mics for live and studio use that I have EVER heard, and I have tried them ALL.

These particular mics have been in use on Eric Slick's drum kit (snare top, snare bottom, 2x rack, floor) since 2019 (I bought them midway through the "Critical Equation" album cycle and we have used them for literally EVERY GIG ever since). You can hear THESE exact mics for sale in this listing in the 2024 Red Rocks video playlist linked below. Actually, if you go on a Youtube deep dive and watch ANY Dr Dog live performance between 2019 and January 2026, you will hear these mics on Eric's drums.

These mics were also used for the Scott McMicken and The Ever-Expanding Band tour, as well as in my home studio to record music for a few film scores. (Pro Tip: these ATM230s are also great alternatives to the boring old SM57 on a guitar amp and they are also fantastic for hand percussion.)

They are in 100% working condition, and cosmetically an 8 out of 10- with a few scuffs on the grills from the occasional drumstick impact (Eric's fault!). Please see pictures. (There are also 2 pics of these exact mics on Eric's kit at The Mann in Philly.)

Included are the 5x AT230 mics with mounting claws, 3 OG zipper pouches, as well as the setlist and my laminate from the last Dr Dog gig these mics were used on (Wilco's Sky Blue Sky Fest at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya 01/26).

I'm selling them only because Dr Dog doesn't tour anymore and we will be using rental gear for future random appearances moving forward. Rest assured though, if the guys ever do decide to do a proper tour again- I'll be buying 5 new ATM230s.
