Very rare rack preamp made in the early 90’s. I believe only a few dozen were made before Aguilar switched focus more to bass equipment
Very versatile with channel 1 having a Fender Blackface type sound, channel 2 is a Marshall type sound and channel 3 seems to be a very over the top high gain liquid metal channel with a more US flavor that reminds me a bit of Mesa Boogie’s
This one also has a 4th channel technically (only example I’ve ever seen of that). For some reason it sounds very thin and quieter. I took it to 2 different techs that are some of the best in the NYC area and they said it seemed like a last minute add on he did and neither had a solution for it, but everything else is perfect on it as they confirmed
No footswitch included, but several different kinds will work for it to change channels. Very cool collector piece for the rack gear guys
