What started life as a Fender Play 1 Telecaster in Tidepool has slowly evolved into an extremely well-spec'ed Telecaster. From pickups to neck, electronics, and hardware, everything was carefully selected to bring out the best in the instrument.

I recognize that partscasters are such a difficult sell. They are a combination of personal preference and taste. When I set out to build this guitar, I tried to follow the specs of a Castadosa that I had an opportunity to play at CME. It had one of the best necks. Honestly, this isn't that Castadosa. But it feels incredible and resonates so well. I think any player will enjoy this guitar.

Why am I selling what I thought would be my forever guitar? I have been searching for a Gibson Les Paul Junior for years, and I finally found it. The Gibson has quickly become my forever guitar. I'm in no rush to sell this, but it's not getting played, and I am not one to keep a lot of gear. I'm hoping this makes its way into the hands of someone looking for their forever tele.

This guitar has left my home office/studio three times. I am not a gigging musician. It's only left a handful of times to go to a friend's house to jam. We also maintain a dry and smoke-free home. My office is on the second floor of my home, which is well-maintained and smoke-free.

Included with the guitar is the original documentation from Chicago Music Exchange, Lollar, and Warmoth (everything seen in the photos).

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

**BLEMISH NOTES**

  • Headstock: When moving around my office, I knocked the headstock against my bookshelf. The low-E string tuner came in contact with the bookshelf. You'll notice I created a hairline crack. To be safe, I brought it to Third Coast Guitars here in Palatine, IL. They flowed liquid glue to prevent the crack from spreading. That was a year and a half ago, and it's been rock solid.
  • Pickguard: There is some expected wear across the pickguard. Nothing unexpected.
