Excellent condition

The RØDE PodMic is a professional dynamic broadcast microphone designed primarily for podcasting, streaming, voiceovers, and radio-style broadcasting. It is known for delivering a rich, natural voice sound while rejecting much of the background noise found in untreated rooms.

Key Features

• Type: Dynamic microphone
• Polar Pattern: Cardioid (focuses on sound directly in front while reducing side and rear noise)
• Connection: XLR (requires an audio interface, mixer, or microphone preamp)
• Frequency Response: 20 Hz – 20 kHz
• Internal Pop Filter: Helps reduce plosive sounds ("P" and "B" pops)
• Integrated Shock Mount: Minimizes vibrations and handling noise
• Construction: Solid all-metal body with a built-in swing mount
• Weight: Approximately 2.1 lb (937 g)

The PodMic is tuned specifically for speech and offers:

• Warm, full-bodied vocal tone
• Excellent background noise rejection
• Smooth high frequencies without sounding harsh
• Broadcast-style sound that requires minimal EQ

Because it is a dynamic microphone, you'll need to speak fairly close (typically 2–4 inches) for the best results.
