Here we have the SENNHEISER MK 8 multi pattern microphone. Manufactured in Germany with a robust build, balanced sound and great bass response. Great for vocals, instruments and broadcast applications.

The MK 8 is a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone designed for professional studio recording, featuring dual 24-carat gold-plated 1-inch diaphragm and a rugged metal housing. The MK8 has a warm, precise sound with a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz. An equivalent noise level of 10 dB(A), and a dynamic range of 132 dB. 

Including five switchable polar patterns (omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, super-cardioid, and figure-8) and versatile on-mic controls such as a 3-position pad switch (0, -10, -20 dB) and a low-cut filter (60 Hz or 100 Hz) to manage proximity effect and rumble.  The capsule is shock-mounted internally to reduce handling noise, and the mic operates on 48 V phantom power with a maximum SPL of 142 dB. 

Condition: Excellent, as new. Tested and functions perfectly. Upon testing I interestingly noted the Omni settings resemblance to that of the U67's frequency response. Very cool microphone!
