Gibson SG Supreme Bass (2007) — Guitar of the Week Limited Edition

A rare piece of Gibson history: this maple-top SG Supreme Bass was a limited run from Gibson's 2007 Guitar of the Week project, with only 400 ever made.

It plays and sounds exactly as you'd hope — rich, resonant, and a joy under the fingers. It's currently set up with premium flatwound strings and ready to play out of the case. I'm only letting it go because I need to downsize.

Condition
VG+ for its age. Approximately 7.8 lbs. There is light playwear throughout and a few minor dings you'd only spot if you went looking. I've documented the more noticeable marks in the photos. On a natural finish, I think these 'dings' add character (honestly!). This bass has never been abused or exposed to smoke.

In addition, please note that the previous owner (he owned it, responsibly, for 15 years):

• Replaced one of the three pots (not sure which one).
• Swapped in wood knobs and a wood truss rod cover to match the natural back of the bass. The original black knobs are included in the case; one has a minor cosmetic nick in the plastic (see photo). The original truss rod cover is not included (was misplaced at some point), but replacements are readily available online.

Comes with the original hardshell case (pictured and in great condition) and factory documents.
