Up for sale is a 1964 Fender 6G2 Princeton in the rare transitional tuxedo color.
I purchased this amp to be a part of a stereo pair to match with my late father's 1963 brown 6G2, but no longer need that stereo rig. If I'm being completely honest, I like this one more; this amp looks cooler, sounds better, and is FAR more collectible. It's in amazing condition as well for its age.
In terms of upgrades that have been performed on this amp, it has been grounded out with a 3-prong cable and the polarity/death switch has been removed. It has a few new electrolytic caps and a few Sozo replaced signal caps. One resistor was changed to increase the depth of the tremolo. Additionally, a bias pot was added. A Eminence Ramrod has been added as it's my favorite speaker in these. This amp has been recently setup with new power tubes and biased accordingly. It comes with a reproduction trem switch.
