Your New Old Friend

As John Suhr describes it, the Classic T Antique is "Your New Old Friend" — a guitar that feels familiar from the very first note, as if you have been playing it for years.

Finished in a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer 2 Tone Tobacco Burst with tasteful aging and relic details, this Classic T delivers the look, feel, and character of a well-loved vintage instrument while offering the consistency and playability expected from a modern Suhr.

The lightweight swamp ash body combined with a tinted maple neck and fingerboard produces a bright, articulate tone with excellent resonance, clarity, and dynamic response.

Classic T Tone with Modern Performance

The Suhr Classic T pickups deliver authentic vintage T-style tones with exceptional definition:

• Bridge pickup: powerful, twangy, and punchy — perfect for rock, country, and classic Tele-style sounds
• Neck pickup: warm and smooth — ideal for blues, funk, jazz, and expressive lead playing
• Both pickups combined: the legendary in-between sound associated with players like Steve Cropper

The guitar also features Suhr's patented SSCII (Silent Single Coil System), eliminating unwanted 60-cycle hum without batteries while preserving the natural character and response of true single-coil pickups.

Premium Suhr Craftsmanship

Every detail reflects Suhr's uncompromising approach to quality:

• Nitrocellulose lacquer finish
• Carefully aged vintage appearance
• Comfortable Vintage Medium C neck profile
• Stainless steel frets for outstanding durability and smooth bending
