This Moog Spectravox is a used unit that has been thoroughly tested and is in perfect working order. Joining the family of Moog semi-modular synthesizers alongside the Matriarch, Grandmother, Mother-32, DFAM, and Subharmonicon, the Spectravox combines a sophisticated 10-band analog filter bank with a powerful vocoder, offering virtually unlimited creative possibilities for sound design, music production, and sound experimentation.

At the heart of the Spectravox is a spectral processor based on ten voltage-controlled resonant filters: one low-pass filter, eight band-pass filters, and one high-pass filter. This architecture allows you to sculpt the harmonic content of any sound source, creating complex sweeps, evolving drones, and textures rich in movement.

Professional analog vocoder

By connecting a microphone to the XLR/Jack input with built-in preamp, the Spectravox transforms into a true 10-band analog vocoder. Vocal articulations can be processed and combined with the internal oscillator or external sources to produce classic robotic voices or completely original effects.

Semi-modular synthesis and Eurorack integration

Thanks to its 36 patch points (19 inputs and 17 outputs), Spectravox can be easily integrated into any Eurorack system or semi-modular setup. The extensive patchbay allows you to individually control the filters, modulate the vocoder’s behavior, and create extremely sophisticated processing paths.

Built-in Analog Oscillator and White Noise

The module features an analog VCO and a white noise generator that can be used as internal sources for the vocoder or as independent sound elements, further expanding the possibilities for experimentation.
