The Epiphone Tak Matsumoto DC is a cost-effective model released by Epiphone based on the TAK Matsumoto DC released by Gibson Custom Shop, inheriting its features while being more affordable.

It boasts a sophisticated and understated look with a flame-figured body top and abalone-patterned position marker inlays.

While the body shape initially resembles a Les Paul DC, the left and right cutaways are asymmetrical, the selector switch is mounted on the 6th string horn side, and it features 2 volume and 1 tone controls.
