Mr. Bonham played Ludwig drums his entire professional career. And if you do a little online searching, you will see he played a plethora of finishes. One of his kits was silver sparkle, and this one does not disappoint. Bright. Shiny. And looks amazing under stage lights!
With the exception of one small performance, this entire kit has lived its entire life in the studio and was used to record many sessions.
Bonham iconic sizes… 26 inch bass drum, 14 inch rack Tom, 16 inch floor Tom, and 18 inch floor Tom.
How else to describe this classic Ludwig Maple sound? They are cannons! Sing like Thunder! And a tone quality that only Ludwig iconic Maple can produce.
All Toms are outfitted with factory supplied Ludwig heads. Bass drum batter is a Ludwig head with the reso is a white Evans. I have brand new authentic Ludwig silver dot heads on order and will be included to the buyer!
While I am not a fan of the saying, this truly is a “if you know, you know!“ kind of a drum kit.
It’s an amazing sounding kit. Has an amazing look. And is a sweet deal!
