The Gemeinhardt M3 model was a very popular intermediate, step-up open hole flute. These flutes featured an in-line key system with a c-foot, a solid silver headjoint, and silver plated body and keys. A favorite among educators for their students looking to take a step into more advanced playing and technique.

This flute's serial number puts it being manufactured in the early 1970s. It has been well maintained over the years were very little cosmetic wear to the instrument. No major scratches or dents with only some cloudiness to the body itself. Playing-wise, it is in great shape. A great choice for anyone interested in moving to an open-hole flute.
