The matte gray BLM 03 Cg Boundary Layer Capsule by Schoeps is used to capture audio in critical applications such as TV, film sound and more. This capsule features a hemispherical polar pattern. An active hard-wired cable allows you to join the capsule with any microphone amplifier of the Colette series (except battery-operated models). The BLM 03 Cg can be discreetly placed and is well suited in places such as the interior of a car or beneath the lid of a piano. NOTE: Shoeps CMC Preamp NOT included in this sale, It's only for demonstration. This Schoeps BLM was a very handy mic for car insert shots on films I mixed. Quick to mount, I would usually have a strip of velcro on the back to pop it on a dash or table, hidden under a tablecloth for example. I just tested it and sounds great. Slight wear on back edge and seen in photo, but in no way effects performance. Currently $1800 on B&H
